| Artist Gary Rubin was born
and raised in Chicago where he began taking art classes at the age of
seven. He took classes in drawing and painting at the Chicago Art
Institute. Gary entered several juried art shows where he took top
honors in most of his work, including the prestigious Fine Artmar award and the Chicago's Artmine award. After receiving a BSBA in Advertising/Marketing with a minor in Fine Art, he enjoyed a thirty six year career in advertising and publishing. During that time, he designed advertising for numerous Fortune 500 corporations and continued showing his artwork in galleries throughout the midwest. In addition to creating hundreds of paintings that include traditional southwestern, surrealistic and abstract designs, Gary has also painted numerous custom murals for his growing clientele. He now resides with his family in Sedona, Arizona. |
